MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA (September 27, 2023) Shashi Hotel Mountain View, a modern lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Silicon Valley, is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Rodriguez as General Manager. A native of the Bay Area, Justin has remained an asset to the Shashi Group team since July 2019, where he previously held the role of Director of Food and Beverage, managing all dining outlets of the hospitality group. “We are thrilled about Justin’s appointment as General Manager of Shashi Hotel Mountain View,” says Dipesh Gupta, Co-Chairman and CEO of Shashi Group. “He has proven to be an asset to the growth and reputation of the hotel, as he possesses great attention to detail, relentlessly pursues perfection, and truly knows the important difference between customer service and customer experience.”

Justin has an extensive management background at some of The Bay’s most discerning restaurants and prior to joining Shashi Group, he served as General Manager at Cotogna, an authentic neighborhood Italian restaurant in San Francisco. Previously, he held the role of Service Manager at San Francisco’s three Michelin-starred restaurant, Quince, and General Manager of Mountain View’s Michelin-starred local institution, Chez TJ, where he aided in driving profitability, guest satisfaction and facility management improvements.

“Shashi Hotel is revolutionizing the hospitality industry with its cutting-edge technology, and I’m honored to lead our innovative, service oriented team that is so deeply committed to the guest experience,” remarks Rodriguez.
